กว่าจะเป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์วัดพระรูป สู่กระบวนการรื้อฟื้นสืบสานงานประเพณี ปิดทองพระพุทธบาทไม้
พิพิธภัณฑ์วัดพระรูปนี้ได้เกิดขึ้นจากดำริของหลวงพ่อพระครูสุนทรสุวรรณกิจ หรือ "หลวงพ่อดี" ซึ่งท่านริเริ่มสร้างอาคารเพื่อจัดเก็บโบราณวัตถุของวัดพระรูป ซึ่งมีโบราณวัตถุชิ้นสำคัญก็คือ "พระพุทธบาทไม้" ซึ่งถือว่าเปป็นศิลปะที่พรั่งพร้อมไปด้วยคุณค่าของชาวสุพรรณตั้งแต่โบราณมาแล้ว ซึ่งจัดแสดงในอาคารที่แบ่งส่วนมาจากหอสวดมนต์

พิพิธภัณฑ์วัดพระรูป เป็นแหลงเรียนรู้ที่จัดแสดงโบราณวัตถุ และศิลปวัตถุที่มีความน่าสนใจเป็นจำนวนมาก สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความเจริญรุ่งเรืองของวัดพระรูปตั้งแต่แรกสร้างจนถึงปัจจุบัน โบราณวัตถุและศิลปะวัตถุเหล่านี้มันเป็นของชิ้นเอกที่จัดแสดงอยู่ในพิพิธภัณฑ์วัดพระรูป เพื่อรอให้ผู้ที่สนใจเข้ามาชมและศึกษาค้นคว้าเพิ่มเติมต่อไป
